Diary of a Detox

A lot of my herbalist colleagues recommend detoxing to patients. The form of these vary from hardcore juice fasting to a more gentle approach.

Herb of the Month - Chamomile!

Chamomile’s relaxing properties have been known for hundreds of years.

It is used forChamomile mild insomnia, stress and anxiety. If you have trouble sleeping or even if you've had a bad day, relaxing before bed with a cup of chamomile tea can help.

Gurgling Gertrude

Digestive issues can range from the minor (but embarrassing) to life threatening.

While home help can improve some of the more embarrassing issues it's important to be able to recognise when it's time to seek professional help.

Constipation and diarrhoea are illnesses in their own right but can be signs of more serious illness. If your symptoms have lasted for more than 3 days, it could be time to see your healthcare professional.
